ProDryingRack SD™ (PSDR)

Regular price $425.00
15 in stock

The PSDR Series (SD) is an integrated system designed to paint and dry cabinet doors in a vertical orientation with the least amount of effort and space.  Parts hang for spraying of all sides in one step.
Hang doors by common cup-hooks, or use our new EFC Hinge Hooks for completely unmarred surface results. The doors then hang on the spinner assembly which is designed to give the painter complete control of the hanging part. Heavy-duty metal hangers eliminate the annoying and costly failure of wooden clothes hangers. 18 feet of drying line allows tight spacing of 50 drying doors because the custom hanger hook radius matches the drying pole so the parts don’t spin.
The SD is designed for foolproof assembly in less than 10 minutes without tools.  Tear down is just as fast into ballistic nylon bags for convenient storage and easy transport to the next job site.
So no more wooden clothes hangers on PVC pipe for spraying or extension ladders between step ladders for drying, the PSDR Series is a must for the commercial painter who values speed and efficient in their paint process.

    Needs to come with hooks

It’s a good drying rack. It is pricey but it will pay for itself within five kitchen cabinet projects.
Ordering this product was a hassle. When I ordered it there was two left in stock and then it was back ordered and took a decent amount of time to get here. Communication with the company was slow. And the drying rack does not come with hooks for the cabinet doors. Not the biggest deal but it would’ve been nice to come as a complete kit. The five star rating is for the quality of the drying rack.

Thanks for the constructive feedback Matt. We've tried recently to make it more clear that the cup hooks are not included and where to get them... possibly because you mentioned that need to us. We also try to respond to every message we get (Email, Phone, Facebook etc) within just a few hours. Obviously we failed in your case.... sorry about that. Very glad the fixture is working for you. We have some new accessories for the SD coming soon. Best wishes.

Great product! What a huge timesaver!

I bought this hoping to save some time painting my cabinets. I am a custom home builder that also does renovation work. I have painted cabinets in the past and It is usually a cumbersome/time consuming process to get all 6 sides of the doors painted (multi-coats). This product significantly reduces the amount of time and effort required.
The only tweaks or suggestions I would recommend to the PaintLine would be as follows: 1) modify the spinner so that it has notches on all four legs (not just the two). Since the notches hold that hangers, this would allow the user to not have to be cognizant of the notches. 2) make the two legs that you use as the paint station adjustable. I had a couple of large pantry doors barely fit in the space. I ended up building two small platforms for each side to rest on giving me the necessary clearance. These larger doors are probably the exception rather than the rule but if you could adjust the height, it would be a nice feature.
I saved all of the plastic packaging that the poles came in. I put one on each of the poles on the paint center and taped them up. This prevented overspray from getting on any of my poles. I also kept the larger plastic bags that the legs came in. I used these to protect them as well. PaintLine could probably package some of these and sell them as a refill kit for this particular use.
I would strongly recommend this system to anyone that is painting cabinets. It really does work as advertised.

Great input Brian... thanks for taking the time to make these suggestions. Noted on the spinner and yes, we believe this can be improved. We're working on offering a wheel above the notch to spin the part. We'll consider your idea about the 4 notches. As for the adjustable height. We'll be offering an extension to increase not only the height of the spray stand, but to step the drying racks up 12' for longer parts. Finally, you're right about the plastic. We'll offer a link on our site to purchase a roll of 2' poly tubing. Keep the good ideas coming!

    Cup Hooks

For a system this expensive and coming from China, I can not for the life of me understand why they did not include say 150 cup hooks. Another trip to Home Depot! Otherwise system works well.

Appreciate this comment Randy... we'll try to make it more clear that the cup hooks are not included but readily available at most hardware stores. Thanks!
